What is wellness and wellbeing?
In short, health is a state of being, whereas wellness is the state of living a healthy lifestyle. Health refers to physical, mental, and social wellbeing; wellness aims to enhance wellbeing.
Wellbeing and wellness are not the same things. In other words, who you are as a person and your perception of how your life is going is your wellbeing. The actions you take toward a healthy lifestyle direct your wellness.
Wellness
Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices towards a healthy and fulfilling life.
It is more than being free from illness. It is a dynamic process of change and growth; a state of complete mental physical and social wellbeing.
